Big Red Cottage
BIG RED’S STORY
The largest of the three cottages, Big Red’s two floors of living space caters to the head of the household. Sprawl out in the open-concept living room, gather round the indoor dining table in the eat-in kitchen, or make yourself comfortable on the huge wrap-around porch. Euchre anyone?
LOCATION
The Treetop’s vintage cottages come with a spectacular location. Perched on top of a 50-foot dune, the complex is positioned directly across the lake from downtown Saugatuck. As the primary means of access to Lake Michigan, the harbor is perpetually full of boats, music, and other fun sights viewable from the cottage porches and firepit.
It’s also a short 15 minute dune hike (or 2-minute drive) to award-winning Oval Beach, named in Condé Nast Traveler’s Top 25 Beaches in the World, National Geographic Traveler’s Top Freshwater Beaches in the USA, and MTV’s Top 5 Beaches in the USA.
OPEN CONCEPT
No one said a cottage couldn’t be luxurious. Elevate your family’s vacation stay with an open-concept living and kitchen space, packed with functionality, sophistication, and hand-picked amenities.
KITCHEN & DINING
Big Red’s gourmet kitchen includes everything a chef could need: a range, microwave, coffee pot, pots, pans and more. Plus, a four-top dining table adds comfort to your morning cup of joe and locally-purchased pastries.
Outside, a gas grill is accompanied by plenty of outdoor seating. So whether your family and friends desire a nice night in, or want to indulge in a whole-group grilling bonanza, the Treetops is a special place to escape from the ordinary.
